This was the first year without Santa Claus.  My nephew is 14 now!!!!  So we strong-armed him into giving up tradition and opening all his gifts on Christmas Eve. ^^   He got a lot of Japanese games from Bleach/Naruto/ and Dissidia: Final Fantasy (which is AWESOME!)  Luckily he's never let a thing like language barriers get in the way of his gaming ( Read more... )

Luciano Pavarotti passed away today. I can't imagine how my world would have been without him. Opera isn't for everyone, unless you heard Pavarotti.

This is my favorite performance because it came at a time when he was no longer supposed to be able to sing. I will cherish it always.

The Speedracer movie site is up. I was hesitant about wanting to like this movie, because of all of the live-action parodies of other shows that chose to make a joke out of them instead of being serious, but all I really wanted out of this movie was Racer X to be a hot, sexy, protective older brother and they delivered.
