Spring 2012 Season
I think I am done with theater for the semester, or at least for things that have programs and production staffs. I can remember participating in or working on nine shows this semester, but I keep remembering more as time passes and I reflect on this amazingly long spring. Musical Beginning to a day of Theater
This is fantastic. I am listening to an engaging string quartet whose dramatic and melodious chords come so well across the theater and through the floor mic. Treat after Finals
Some may say I am planning way to far in advance if I am already planning for an event after spring finals, but some things are best planned in advance. Things I Learn About Myself
I've been doing a bit of self reflection lately and am attempting to analyze my patterns from as much of an objective standpoint within my own head. I reconfirmed that I can work (and write in particular) best when I am alone. 24 Hours
24 Hours until I must be done with and willing to give up two 7-8 page papers and an algebra assignment that likely will take another two hours of work. In the meantime, I have three hours of classes, an house of focus and/or voting, an hour of pre-proposal, and an hour and a half of dance rehearsal. It Begins Anew
I must first say, Merely Players was a purely amazing experience that I am thrilled to have shared with such truly great people. Even after the performances were over, I was able to feel more like an active participant in the group when we went to IHOP, because I was part of the troupe, not just a techie who was present for moments of the ( Read more... ) -
Procrastination
So tomorrow, once my day starts, I have only a 30 minute period of unscheduled time during the 12 hour block I am considering my day. That is not to say I dread to see the many events tomorrow unfold, it is actually quite the opposite: I plan on having one of the most wonderful days yet this month tomorrow.

Lighting Is Done

For those who know of this little play called Margaret that is closing in three weeks from this very day, I just wanted to let you know that all the lighting that can possibly be done before we get a chance to lower pipes onto the stage and place lights is done. What a Wonderful Week
So, this week I had a ridiculously fun time acting for Merely Players and I also progressed on the lighting thoughts and conception for Margaret. But that was only a piece of it, and only one of the pieces that concerned theatre.

Physics: Away
I just dropped physics, and I am not totally sure what to think of anything any more. I thought about the decision tremendously, and basically it came down to the point that if I am not understanding or enjoying a cool subject that I would be forced to wake up before 9:00 each morning just to fail, then taking said course would not be in my best ( Read more... )
