A/N: If you think the beginning of this chapter is weird... just continue on and you'll get the picture. Eunhyuk was needed.

Eunhyuk stood back to admire his awesome work with putting the balls in a perfect order. Well at least it was perfect until his fellow-captain and friend Junsu decided to show up and unintentionally knocked all the balls down from its perfect piled tower on the grass. Eunhyuk sighed and looked at the cheerful teen that dropped all the things he'd been carrying down on the grass. They had morning practice before the classes started, but no one had appeared yet, annoying Eunhyuk to no end. He was usually bright and cheerful, he was a good hyung and he carefully looked after his dongsaengs. But when it came so soccer, he was dead serious. He wouldn't let anyone slack of from practice. And what he hated most was tardiness unless there was a good excuse for it.
“Did you see anyone from the team in the dressing room?” Eunhyuk asked Junsu that was absorbed into planning the warm-ups for the team.
“No... I think some of them are still sleeping...”
“WHAT?”
“Hyukkie.... calm down... it's not like it would hurt if they had a sleep-in every now and then.”
Eunhyuk finally calmed down and sighed heavily. He flopped down onto the grass that was still wet after the morning rain. Maybe he was taking this to seriously, but this team was very important to him. He wanted to take them to the finals. He wanted them to win.
“Hyukkie.... you're spacing out.”
“I know... sorry.”

Half an hour into practice that new boy showed up. The whole school knew who he was, but Eunhyuk figured that the boy didn't even know the names of all of his classmates yet. The new boy was standing awkwardly on the other end of the soccer field. Eunhyuk stared in his direction, trying to figure out what he was doing there. It looked like he'd been crying. And Eunhyuk, being the good hyung he is, he made his way towards the boy with a worried expression on his face.
“Can I help you?” Eunhyuk asked softly, just waving towards Junsu who threw him a questioning look.
The blond boy gasped for air and Eunhyuk was afraid that he was going to have fit and motioned for him to sit down on the grass beside him.
“What's your name?”
“Eli...” came the choked answer. Eunhyuk nodded as they both sat down, back against the soccer field.
“I'm Hyukjae, but you can call me Eunhyuk. Care to tell me what's wrong?”
“I was being a fool... and thought that I had a place here. So I came looking for Soo Hyun, since I don't have a key to our room. I need to pack my stuff...”
“Now now... slow down alright. Tell me what happened.”
Eli looked at the older boy in confusion.
“I know I'm a complete stranger to you. But as your hyung it's my duty to look after you. Tell me what happened and I might be able to help you out.”
The younger boy sighed and Eunhyuk gave him a weak smile. If Eli was not going to tell him he would have to guess his way towards the answer.
“It's a love problem right?”
Eli's breath got caught in his throat. Bingo, Eunhyuk, sometimes you're such a good guesser...

Soo Hyun brought Eli to his class when he had calmed down. Eunhyuk had had a long talk with the boy and when they were done Eunhyuk wrote a note to Eli's teacher and explained the situation. Eli was forever thankful towards his hyung. Now he didn't have to explain anything to his teacher and it'd be easier to just ignore Kevin and Kiseop. The two he had looked upon as angels only a few days earlier. Now he didn't know if he could trust them again. At least not for a while. It was not that they were cheating behind his back, but... He was so confused. He was upset and angry and he just couldn't understand why he felt like he was breaking inside. He liked both Kevin and Kiseop and considered them to be his friends. But he was just so confused. Why didn't they just tell him that they were together from the start? Why did they hide it? Well, he had noticed that they were a lot closer than friends usually were... but still... Now that he knew that they were together he felt so alone. Kevin and Kiseop were perfect together. Eli was not even close to their perfection, he just didn't... fit in.

He ignored them for the rest of the day. Kevin tried to talk to him on several occasions and Kiseop just ignored him like he was afraid to confront Eli. Eli decided to not bother with even paying attention to them. During the lunch hour he took a stroll around the school grounds to get away from them. Just seeing them together made the knot in his chest tighten even more.
He sat down underneath one of the trees and just sat there for a while until Key showed up.
“Did you guys fight or anything?”
“Not really...”
“Why is Kevin so upset then?”
“Because I told them that I didn't want to speak to them ever again...”
Key's mouth formed a silent 'o' and then threw himself down on the grass beside him.
“You know what?”
“No... what?”
“They need you.”
“What?”
“Both of them. You have what the two of them lack in that relationship. You're making them feel safe. And they need you.”
“I'm not a bodyguard.”
“That's not what I'm saying... listen to me. Kevin might not be so bright sometimes and Kiseop may be a rich bastard but they found love when they met for the first time. I know because I was there to witness it. I saw it. When they found each other it was like they were finally home.”
“Key... if you're trying to cheer me up, this doesn't work...”
“I saw it in their eyes when they met you for the first time, Eli. They both want you, need you, for this to work. So stop being stubborn and listen to them alright?”
“No.”
Key glared at him.
“Eliiiii...”
“I know. I am. Eventually. But not now. I'm way to upset to confront them.”
Key finally nodded to show that he understood. He gave Eli a small smile and sat up beside him.
“How was your old school really? The rumors said that you were kind of a bad boy with a very bad reputation in your old school.”
“I guess that true...”
“Really?”

Eli and Key spent the whole lunch chatting and then went back to the classroom together. Eli still didn't talk to either Kevin or Kiseop during the whole afternoon. He even ignored the notes that Kevin sent him. Though he secretly put them in his pocket so he could read them later when no one was around. He would forgive the two of them eventually. Just not right now. He was still shocked from this morning. He didn't know what to make out of this. He sighed heavily when he finally could go back to the dorm. He was actually glad that Eunhyuk-hyung talked him out of leaving school. But when he unlocked the door to his room he felt very lonely. The past week he'd always had two smiling angels around him. Now he was alone again. Soo Hyun was probably off to practice already. He sighed and threw his bag on the bed. Maybe he should join some club. Maybe then he could make some friends. He smiled weakly and left the room again. He was not that interested in soccer... but maybe Eunhyuk could give him some advice on which club would suit him better. Somehow he just knew that Eunhyuk would give him an honest answer.

“Ever been into martial-arts before? You look very muscular...” Eunhyuk said as he continued shouting at the players on the field to move faster. Eunhyuk made sure to work them hard.
“Chinese kung-fu and taekwondo.” Eli answered automatically. “For about twelve years...”
Eunhyuk whistled, amazed.
“I think I know the perfect club for you then.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. We have an martial arts club in this school. There's not that many members, but yeah... I've seen them in action. They're really awesome. I'm friends with one of the members. I could introduce you to them if you want to.” Eunhyuk continued and turned to look at Eli. Eli just gave him a nod.
“But I've gotta warn you kid. If you piss them off they'll beat you into a bloody pulp so don't be cocky. Sungmin may seem innocent...” Eunhyuk shivered like he just remembered something unpleasant. “I can introduce you to their captain... I think he's still in class though. Come with me.” He motioned for Eli to follow. “JUNSU! TAKE OVER HERE, I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!” he shouted before he left.

Eli had never been to this part of the school. All the older students had lessons in this part of the building and Eli had only befriended Eunhyuk so far. He tailed after the soccer player who walked with determined steps down the corridors. Eli had to admit that he was nervous. He wasn't sure if he liked what he had dragged himself into.
“Excuse me... may I borrow Hankyung-hyung for a minute?”
A student who clearly wasn't Korean rose from his seat and joined them outside the classroom after the teacher gave him permission to leave the lesson. He looked kinda confused as Eunhyuk gave him a big smile.
“Hyung! I found a member for your club.”
Hankyung blinked once, twice and then turned his gaze towards Eli and smiled.
“So you wanna join?” He said with a strong Chinese accent. Eli nodded. This guy seemed like a nice fellow, maybe he would become even better friends with him later.
”Yes I do...” He answered, but in Chinese this time. Hankyung looked surprised at first but then he smiled and turned to a confused Eunhyuk.
“I like him already, so much that I won't force him into prove his skills before joining...” He said to Eunhyuk who just smiled widely at the Chinese boy. “But I can't speak for Sungminnie.”

READ PLEASE:
I'm sorry about the lack of Kevin and Kiseop in this chapter. But I need Eunhyuk, Hangeng and Sungmin to get this story going :D At least there was a lot of Eli in this chapter. I excluded the scene outside of Kiseop's apartment so you'll have to picture it on your own :P
I think the chapters will grow longer in the future. And eventually... Heechul will show up in all his glory 8D Just wait.
