”Y-You what?”
“Eunhyuk-hyung introduced me to the captain...”
Key stopped practicing his dance-steps and turned to look at Eli. He had come to give Key advice on his dancing though he knew nothing about dance. But Key had invited him since Eli had no better to do than to worry about what to do with the whole Kevin and Kiseop situation he was in right now.
“I'm supposed to meet them tomorrow afternoon to meet the other members.”
“Oh dear... My dear Eli... you have no idea what you've dragged yourself into.”
“Hey!” Eli threw his English book at the other teen who just started laughing his ass off at Eli's terrified face. Key then smiled and flopped down on the floor beside Eli and looked at him intently.
“No... but seriously Eli. Be careful around Sungmin-hyung. I mean... sure... he seem sweet and all... but he's scary as fuck.”
“Really? I don't even know who the guy is anyway...” Eli said calmly and cocked his head a little bit to the left. “Hankyung-hyung said that he's a nice guy when you get to know him. But Eunhyuk-hyung looked like he was scared of him...”
“BECAUSE HE IS SCARY! Eli... seriously... you have no idea!”
“We'll see about that tomorrow. Hankyung-hyung said he would save me if needed.”
“At least you have the Chinese man on your side...” Key said and it seemed like he calmed down a bit by this fact. “Good luck tomorrow...”

Eli spent the rest of the afternoon talking with Key. He found out that the boy was actually very fun to hang out with. Except when he went into his random bitch-modes and scared the crap out of Eli. But he had a great time and Key managed to cheer him up a bit. He didn't feel as broken by the fact that Kevin and Kiseop were together. He didn't know why he was upset in the first place. He was just confused. Maybe it was because he had actually started to like Kevin. Since he spent almost all of his time around the boy for about a week. To suddenly know that he belonged to someone else hurt. Not that Eli should care. No.... of course not. He was not gay or anything. He was just confused. Very confused.
With these thoughts he came back to his room to find Kevin and Kiseop waiting for him. Soo Hyun was not there to save him and Eli felt an urge to turn around and flee but he didn't. He couldn't ignore them forever.
“Eli-yah...”
Eli rose an eyebrow at Kevin and then gave him a week smile. Kevin was sitting on Eli's bed, fiddling with one of the pillows, clearly very worried and on the brink of tears. Kiseop sat on the far end of Soo Hyun's bed, facing away from Kevin and Eli. He gave out an aura of being very pissed and he would probably snap at anyone who came too close.
“Eli... I... I'm sorry... I... we... Kiseop and I...”
Eli walked over to Kevin and sat beside him on the bed. He took one of Kevin's shaking hands into his and smiled reassuringly.
“Don't worry about it. I was so shocked and overreacted. Just drop it.”
“But I...”
Eli shook his head at him. He didn't want to hear it.
“It's alright. You should take care of your boyfriend. He's cranky without your attention.” He whispered into Kevin's ear. Kevin blushed and then nodded. He got up from the bed.
“We're still friends right?”
“We'll always be friends.”
Kevin gave him a big smile but Eli noticed it was way to sad to be a real honest smile.
“Come on Kiseop-ah. We're leaving.”
Kiseop got up from his place on the bed. That boy was not very happy, Eli could tell by just looking at him.
“I told you he wouldn't read those stupid notes, Kev. Why would he even think of that with anyone of us?” Eli heard Kiseop say before he left the room with Kevin.
“Don't say that. It was worth a shot. Now let's go home, darling.”

The next day Eli forced Key into following him to his first meeting with the Martial arts club. He was so nervous. He had been nervous all day that he almost wrote the answers all wrong on the test he had in English that morning. He wanted to ask Kevin first. But Kiseop's bad mood seemed to affect Kevin in an amazing way. He'd never seen anyone spoil his partner like Kevin did that day. He showered Kiseop with love and care. He had even bought him presents and he made his lunch. All his attention was on Kiseop that Eli didn't want to ask him. He was afraid to start a fight with Kiseop because he knew it would hurt Kevin. And Kiseop too at that. So he asked Key instead. Key whined and bitched all the way to the martial arts studio but when they finally got there he silenced down. Eli figured it was because he was scared of Sungmin. Eli started to be seriously curious about this Sungmin-guy. Who was he really? And why did everyone talk of him like he was some big scary guy that would break all the bones in your body if you made him angry?

“Sungmin-ah! I told you there's a new member joining today. You can't say he's not welcome here because you're in a bad mood.” Hankyung said in his broken Korean as Eli and Key opened the door to the room and walked in silently.
“Just... please. Shut it.” The other boy said from the floor, by the looks of it he was stretching. Eli cocked his head to the right and examined the guy in front of him. He sure had a nice figure, but he did make the impression of being a lot smaller than he was. He would've called him cute if not Key had warned him beforehand about calling Sungmin just that word. The boy's hair was dark and it curled itself a little bit at the ends. When he turned around so Eli actually could see his face he just wouldn't understand why Key called him scary. The older boy in front of him, judged by the looks, was just totally adorable. His lips where full and looked very soft, and there was a visible pout that was lingering on them. His eyes where big and brown and at the moment he reminded Eli of a lost puppy. But both Key and Eunhyuk had warned him about Sungmin's deceiving looks so Eli decided to not be fooled into fake safety at the moment.

Sungmin on the other hand was examining Eli as well, and then he opened his mouth and something not very cutesy like. Eli had never heard anyone swear like that before. When Sungmin was finished he turned to Hankyung. They where talking back and forth for a while and then Sungmin left the room. Hankyung sighed.
“Sungminnie's really hard to deal with sometimes.” he spoke softly. “Though he's very nice when you get to know him better. And he didn't beat you into a bloody pulp. See that as something positive.”
“Hankyung-hyung... are you sure that's something good?” Key said, his voice was slightly trembling. Eli just shrugged at them.
“In my opinion it'd be better if he just came down to business if he's having issues with me. I don't want to have it hanging around for months.”
“Hankyung-hyung! I changed my mind. I think I like the guy!” came Sungmin's voice from the other room. Hankyung just smiled at Eli and started to show him around and tell him how things worked in the club. Eli listened. Key left though, he just mumbled something about dance practice and Jonghyun's voice and fled. But Eli figured that mixed scent of sweat and blood wasn't to diva-Key's liking.
Later in the afternoon he met some of the other members of the club and Sungmin persuaded him into sparring with him. Eli didn't regret it though. Sungmin was serious and Eli had some nasty bruises after that. Sungmin was stronger than he looked and when he went all out he was really scary. But Eli had been through various street-fights with guys like Sungmin before, so he was determined to put up a fight. Sungmin, to everyone's surprise, even praised Eli afterwards.
This school wasn't that bad after all.

Kiseop was still in a bad mood during the next few days. Kevin tried his best to cheer him up but eventually he gave up, so he came to Eli's and Soo Hyun's room one night to ask for help.
“I don't think he loves me anymore.”
Eli looked up from his textbook in English to meet Kevin's eyes. He was almost crying. He was kind of happy that Soo Hyun chose to visit Dong Ho at the moment... because now they wouldn't be bothered by the elder.
“Don't ever say that Kevin. I may not be that good with feelings and relationships. But I know he loves you... Have you asked him why he's upset?”
“That... day... I think I said something to him... that made him very upset.”
Eli looked at his textbook again. It was hard for him to pretend not to be hurt when Kevin talked about his love problems. What was this ache in his chest really? Sure he liked the guy... but... this much? He 'hm'-ed though to show Kevin that he should go on.
“I wanted... no... I suggested that we'd break up.”
Eli turned around to stare at the boy. Was he serious? Why would he break up with Kiseop? He loved him and they had been together for so long.
“Why?”
“Because... I don't know. You were upset and I wasn't thinking of Kiseop's feelings right then. I wanted to show you that I cared for you with and without my boyfriend, that it was not because the teachers asked me to. The break up was not supposed to last. I never had the intention of actually breaking up with him... I was just so upset when you said that you'd never speak to us again. I thought it was because of our relationship. I thought that maybe you were against it and I didn't want to loose you.”
“Kevin... you're so stupid at times...” Eli just mumbled. “Don't make Kiseop-ah jealous. Go and talk to him now. Like... really talk. Tell him that he's everything to you.”
“But...”
“Just do...”
“But you're everything to me too...!”
“...”
“...”
“what?”
