OH YEAH! I forgot to mention I watched my 1st live hurling match on Thursday afternoon. UCC vs. LIT, in the pissing rain. It was fun though, good crowd.

Duane was in Cork last night with his girlfriend so Andy and I met them for drinks and Steve joined us as well. It was unbelievably great to see Duane again and a pleasure to meet and talk with his girlfriend Amy. I would love to be able to go visit them sometime. I wish we had brought the camera. Had a good birthday and a great anniversary on Sunday. 2 years and a day ago was when I met and fell in love with my Andy. We relaxed, watched Sherlock Holmes, and went out for dinner and a pint at Clancy's. Now I'm studying for a Middleware exam I have on Wed. Blargh. Enjoying my course at the moment though, I must say. Happy New Year! Didn't do much out of the ordinary for New Year's, just visited pubs in Cork. Started back at college this week. Have tickets booked for 3 weeks in April for a visit home. Andy has tickets booked for 2 weeks in June for Tanzania. I dread these chunks of time apart, but at least they're temporary. I can't help wishing we were taking ( Read more... )

Whoops it's been way too long. Some notable things worth remembering include:

• Christmas dinner with the lads, prepared by Ross. It was really good! Andy and I provided ice cream for dessert.
• Finished exams, only know one result so far but I'm happy with it! Hopefully the rest are just as good

Another week has flown by, but it was pretty good, especially Wednesday. I was done super early so Andy and I went into town to get ornaments for our Christmas tree. The past week has been the best ever! Spend pretty much every moment of every day with Andy. That sounds horrible or whatever but actually it seemed just natural and we were like, wow.. you really don't get on my nerves..which was awesome. Bad flooding in Cork means no lectures all next week. I'm gonna admit I'm thrilled about that. The water in my apartment is still flowing fine so I feel pretty fortunate. Just gonna enjoy my week off.

Thank GOD exams are over, that's all I'm gonna say about that right now.
