Who else is watching The Bletchley Circle? Someone I follow on Tumblr (I think it was cobweb_diamond, actually) mentioned this amazing ITV show about, well, here's the Wikipedia description:

"The Bletchley Circle is a 2012 television mystery drama series set in 1952 about four fictional women, Susan, Millie, Lucy, and Jean who have returned to their normal lives

Have watched all three eps now and I LOVED them. So much awesome commentary about how things still sucked for women back then, and the obvious yearning from all four women to be able to do something important again with their skills was just heart-wrenching. I hope they produce some more, because three one-hour eps is not nearly enough.

I'm watching it! I love Lucy (ha!) and the opening was pure sex. Loved the show!

is it wrong i liked the husband - yeah, he was a bit of a wet rag, but he honestly tried to be supportive, esp. the bit where he thought Susan was helping Lucy escape her husband.

OMG OMG I want that fic so bad. *makes grabby hands* I keep rewatching the first episode and that conversation Susan and Millie have in the diner when they reunite just *slays* me. "So you met a man and fell pregnant?" So bitter and so jealous. YESSSSSSS.
