I've been having increased pain in my lower back and left leg (i.e. the bits requiring surgery a little over a year ago) to the point I can barely walk at times. Poor Houdini has had a rough few days. Last Friday, I noticed some swelling around his eye. I first thought he was taking after the humans and was dealing with allergies. Then it got worse, and I thought maybe he'd gotten into a fight and had been sratched in the eye area, but I could not find any other mark on him. Then I started thinking it might ( Read more... )

Our guest has been brave enough to come into the garage to eat, so we've put out another bowl, because Houdini starts doing the feline version of spluttering if the other cat is eating out of his bowl. Which he's doing here. Which is why my father has to give Houdini chin skritches as compensation.
