I posted about Beyond the Sea a few years ago, when it was on a 99 cent special at Amazon. It's on sale again. You can read my kind of a review at the link, but the short version is m/m romance, hurt/comfort, angst, with a layer of fluffiness. Cheesy, but tasty cheese.

There's a lot of history behind this series. First there's the 1980s French graphic novel series, Le Transperceneige, then the 2013 film, Snowpiercer, starring Chris Evans and directed by Bong Joon-ho. Now there's a TV series that is sort of based on both, but I think it will end up as a soft reboot of the concept ( Read more... )

I've had this limited series sitting on my DVR for a bit, and tried to watch it this weekend.
