Connecting The Dots
The summer of 2015-2016 I'd had to stop doing pilates after the instructor was in a serious car accident & the studio closed for a longer than normal period. As my health started to pick up again & my depression started lifting, I started to push my doctors to find the answers, I wanted a name to what I was going through not 'It's just depression', 'It's just a migraine', 'It's just this...'. I dont remember much about the year I was 13, it was sort of a non event year, so it must've been a good year health wise, though I know sometime between the ages of 12 and 15 I was on crutches for sprained ankles and each arm had been in cast twice for fractures ( Read more... ) -
My Journey To Answers
I`m not recounting any of this to get sympathy, or pity. I`m reliving all of this so that I can see how far I`ve come, from pure strength of will and the support of my family & friends. Lot's to say, not much time to say it in. Not really.
Went for my appointment with the therapist guy on Wednesday. Am Bipolar. Have Bipolar. Whatever. Good to finally be diagnosed, yay! So now we're trying a course of drugs to see what's going to work and what's not. The one I'm starting out on is a mood stabiliser. Doesn't really seem to be doing ( Read more... ) -
