I found this link on a forum about guinea pigs. I think we all have something to learn from it. In other words, this x-mas try to do things "the guinea pig way".

All is well here. The piggies seem to be doing well again, school is out of on monday ( what a perfectly stupid thing to do, end it on a monday!) and I've put three of my piggie females for breeding, two pet litters and one texel/sheltie. Got up to check om the baby and mother today. Found a tiny wet spot on the floor of the cage. As it turns out, it was another baby! very small, like the other one, and black and golden, like their dad. Not much to say about today really. Stayed home since I noticed this morning that Speical K seemed to be having a relapse. However now she seems just fine and so I'm happy! I'm also very happy because today there was another piggy born here! It's an undecided so far. A golden/white/chocolate girl/boy with a rather interesting look. I'll soon post ( Read more... )

I just realised today that I haven't updated in, like, forever! *g* So I thought it time to do so. I'm home today watching a, at least previously, sick guinea pig.
