OMG that weird gesture of Hinata's where she taps her index fingers together? It's called achichi (あちち)and I found it in my new book of Japanese wordless gestures! It means "they're cute" in reference to a couple, and is considered somewhat outdated, according to the book.

I like the program Anki for kanji. It's where I've learned most of the ones I recognise now. You can input your own things into it too.

And hurray for Hinata's gesture?

Japanese have random English phrase books too. My ALT friend and her Japanese co-worker found one at the college, 1400 Forbidden American Phrases. My friend did a double-take when her co-worker started reading out the entry for "cock ring" in the library.

Edit: Also I totally want that coach game. O.Ox It looks so gooooood.

...Y'know, having reference books like that in the bathroom's not a bad thing. I always have problems deciding on what to have for bathroom reading. Currently it's a book on the Third Reich. But for all the short amounts of time you spend in the bathroom, more serious reading like my book doesn't fit too well as just as you're getting into the reading, you've finished your business. And as I always suck at recalling particles and stuff, maybe having a book on such in the bathroom to read (and reread and reread) may help.

...Yeah, I'm learning in a very haphazard method. I'm going to read the link you have, and if it looks promising, I may see about getting "My Japanese Coach" myself. :)
