OMG that weird gesture of Hinata's where she taps her index fingers together? It's called achichi (あちち）and I found it in my new book of Japanese wordless gestures! It means "they're cute" in reference to a couple, and is considered somewhat outdated, according to the book.

It always amazes me when I hear from friends that they wonder where I've been. Why is that, do you suppose? So my Japanese/English language exchange is fun, but exhausting. We met at 1:00 (I didn't get there til 1:30 cause I was a slacker) and the four of us, two native English speakers and two native Japanese speakers, worked on things for hours.
