Obviously I am going to have to write a story about Genma attempting to gain immunity to a poison in this manner. Drinking something his body knows is poison, and forcing himself to keep going.

Obviously you do. :D *excited*

Glad things are going... uhm. okay enough! <3

*is proud* Your are doing great to be going to the gym despite the discomfort. I'm impressed by the amount of weight you've managed too. I honestly don't lift anything over 30 pounds, I just lift it about 20 to 30 times a set at best. The staff at my Y tells me that I need to do interval training to be most effective at burning fat, particularly around the middle. So, go go treadmill for the win. I just do it on a hill program at a brisk walk ( ... )

Oh, my weights are low. too. It just does a cumulative total, which amuses me. So my 12 reps of 90 pounds on the leg press gives me 1080 pounds. Then I do the other 13 machines on the circuit, most of them with under 25 pounds, some with only 10 because I have the world's weakest shoulders.

For treadmill I'm just trying for target heart range right now, so I was keeping it at a steady brisk pace on a slight incline. Maybe I should try the hill program.

I was really freaked about calling the police, but they had been fighting a long time, and smashing things around. When I heard that extremely loud bang that didn't sound like a door slamming or a vase hitting the wall, I picked up the phone.

Anyway thanks for the encouragement. Now I'm off to the AquaFit 2 class!

Ah, I do one day of lower body weights for up to a half an hour and one day of upper body weights later in the week. I do 'cardio,' tummy work, and stretches too every day. I do the rower for 2000m which translates to around 12 minutes at the speed I usually go. The treadmill I do for between 20 and 30 minutes depending on the day. I don't want to spend my life at the gym so I try to keep my workout time down to around an hour, or a half hour on Mondays. Supposedly it is better for you to have a significant rest period between weight lifting for the muscle tears to rebuild into stronger muscles, but I haven't really researched it to know ( ... )

have you tried the elliptical machine? that was amberjoy's favorite & she got great results with it. she loved it and at one point could do it for like an hour. i, however, run away from the breath-stealing, muscle-burning, heart-pounding Thing after exactly two minutes (i have no gym stamina). i think anyone who can go to a gym more than once a month is a damn superhero ( ... )
