Broadway show

Hey everyone. I have a question about how to get dressed for a broadway show. I hear it depends on the show and I'm going to see The Phantom of the Opera on a Monday night. Should I be dressed in black pants, heels, and a nice top. Or can I pull off jeans? The last time I went to one of these shows was when I was little; so my Mommy dressed me

Dressing casual is fine. You can definitely pull off jeans. If you could see what some people wear when they go to shows, you'd feel overdressed, even in jeans. :)

I personally think jeans are inappropriate unless you're going to a matinee. Going to see a Broadway show is something special, so why not dress a little nicer?

I have to agree... nowadays people wear whatever, but I think it's a special occasion that people pay good money for. Why not make it a nicer experience for not only yourself but everyone?

Ugh, last Broadway show I went to had people in cargo shorts, with unbuttoned button-down shirts... tacky tacky.

You'd be fine in jeans, but I prefer to dress up a bit...
