I have tickets to see August Osage County next week, and I have a question to ask people who have already seen it.  The original plan was to bring my husband to see the show, but then I learned more about the plot.

Greetings. Does anyone have any experience volunteer ushering for theatre? How does one find such opportunities in NYC?

Back in San Francisco, I'd volunteer to usher for a season, usher once for every show, and get to see it for free. One would think that some theatres in NYC would do the same.

These are very much off-the-record and un-approved photos, but I had occasion to wander around the Times Square construction site today taking photos of the new TKTS Booth in progress. I figured I'd share the photos with you guys :)

One of the nice resources being a college student here is that supposedly we can use our validated college IDs to get discount tickets to all types of shows in NYC. Since I've been a busy student (duh!), I haven't had much time nor money to make doing these things a priority, but I hope to take advantage of a few things in the next two months or ( Read more... )

Can anyone share experiences with concerts at MSG?  We're going to Sesame Street Live on Sunday and I was wondering if anyone knew what their policies are on strollers.  I'm sure there will be tons of them there, and parking by our seats won't be realistic...is there stroller parking?  Or like, a check system ( Read more... )
