Because we were in the Bay for a few weeks at Christmas, we got lots of wedding planning stuff done before we had to head back to Van. We're getting married on July 5, 2008 at the Airlane--ceremony is in the courtyard, and then the reception is in the ballroom. Cool! Chris and I drove down to Seattle yesterday to see Alice in Chains play the Paramount. Awesome venue, and the best show I have ever seen. William Duvall doesn't try to be Layne, but he sings the parts so well. And Jerry was rocking a beard, and he was beyond sexy. Our water is full of dirt, so we can't drink it. As if the whole greater Vancouver area has a boil water advisory! Our landlord dropped off a bunch of bottles of water for us, so that was nice. :) Also in bad water news, during some street construction earlier today the workers broke a watermain in half, so for most of the day and evening we had no ( Read more... ) -
