As irksome as all of this is, I do hope everyone understands that it will all be over soon. Nothing ever lasts in Adstringendum- not the people, not the events. It's disconcerting to suddenly lose something you've taken for granted for so long, but if you simply allow yourself time to adjust, you'll find that you can train your other senses

[Why this guy wanted to know is a bit beyond him. But, even if he was from his world and knew about the atrocities the scientists of Gargantua had done, Yuca didn't particularly care. He could always claim to be from a different time, after all.]

It is, a little. Many of the residents have a hard time reasoning for themselves, though.

Of course; I still possess my voice though, so forgive me for replying with it! We don't have these devices in my land, so my writing with it would be rather poor.

It's no trouble at all! I like hearing the melody in voices, even if I can't produce any of my own. Where do you come from?
And- I'm not sure. If there's something symbolic, I suppose it insinuates that I've been abusing it.
