I have no idea what to title this so I'm just going to go with 'Title'

Good news on the family front: my Dad and my Grandad should both be going home in a few days. The bleeding on my Dad's brain has stopped - he's even walking around and talking on the phone. Grandad isn't recovering as quickly, but he's about to be 93, so he's entitled. However, like I said, the doctors expect to release him by the start of next ( Read more... )

Good to hear about your family *hugs*

We had someone like that at the lab I used to work at, only with liquid nitrogen burns instead of chemicals. Just keep in mind that he will provide many awesome stories of stupidity for years to come.

*hugs back* Thanks. :)

And you're totally right - he has already provided us with many a funny story to tell. However, that doesn't change the fact that I'm counting down the days. *winks*

I will keep your family in my thoughts and hope they keep getting better.

And also? That trainee? Sounds JUST LIKE a couple of our design part-timers. Difference being that we don't work with life-threatening chemicals, so there's no chance they'll kill themselves. I only find myself mourning that fact occasionally.

Thanks, hun. *hugs*

And if you want, I can hook you up with a few hazardous chemicals. Strictly hush-hush, mind you. But I'm sure that can take care of some of your part-timers. *winks*

I'm sorry, Never! I hope he disappears quick. Isn't there any other senior members you could pass him off to in an attempt to, you know, share the love?

Thanks, hun. *glomps*

There are some other senior members of the lab, but I can pass him off. From the moment bossman assigns him to me, I'm stuck with him until he leaves the lab. *sigh* At least it's almost over.

You've only got two weeks left. I think you can survive. I mean, there are certain people I have to live with for the rest of the year who I'd really like to see gone, y'know? So good luck, and let me know what you do to avoid committing suicide, please.

Wow, he sounds challenging. Would smacking him upside the head with a clue by four help? Hope he moves on very, very soon.

I'm glad to hear about your family though. At least that's some good news! ::hugs::
