My grandmother got out of surgery just fine!

My grandmother is going in for a major surgery today and I think she just said goodbye.

Yesterday morning at 3am, Mom and I received the call to get our butts up to the hospital because sis had gone into labor. We got there at 3:20 and L was already in her room and (thankfully) about to her her happy drugs. Two hours later, we welcomed my lovely niece into the world ( Read more... )

It happened last night just after 2am. I got the call and laid awake in bed the rest of the night.

I'm going home.

This morning I got a phonecall from my Mom. Grandad's 3-6 months has been shortened to about 2 weeks. So I talked to bossman when I got to work and I'm going back home this Friday and I plan to take next week off.
