I've been on a plauteu for a while - I think I'll try counting calories to keep them under ~1500 -I think I prob. eat 2500+ calories somedays -so just counting & not pigging out should help ;)
On restricting food - it's true I do eat some unhealthy stuff I really don't "need" at all - like chips or lots of cheese somedays or whatever. But when I eat less my stomach likes to keep around the good foods or I get an upset stomach: Ie I can eat more junkfood when it's with healthy stuff but if I have to choose one or the other I often get a tummy ache over high-fat/junk foods. I've had this for awhile - but I think you're totally right: I should start by being aware of a calorie limit of some kind. Since I'm so short it can be 1500 wo/much issue.
It's like 85 calories of veggies & salad is so different then 85 calorie slice of pizza but they count the same - maybe I need to track fat or carbs, but right now I'll just try to keep tracking calories & not get overwhelmed.

And I'm surprised that I will rarely sacrifice eating healthier food that will made me feel full over junk food.
