some friends had a player cancel on their co-ed football team, so I totally got a call to come sub-in on their team & I played an hour of touch football tonight,and they were a group of friends I haven't seen in awhile,so it was twice the bonus! :D I caught 5 passes, blocked a few, missed a few- good times. I probably shouldn't be quite so critical about simple art museum displays, given that they're geared toward like 6th grade viewers, but it's hard not to be! I'm impassioned to know every bit of detail I can get my hands on when it comes to Art History/Antiquity. A few years back, my friend Heidi got to catelog and preserve a massive trove of "asian" art at MIA. I wish I had that sort of job. :)

Seeing the Fountain last night was definitely a coinkidink. I had no idea it had Maya lore in it.
