At one isolated Village, Noel stood amidst a crowd of now-unconscious demons. Estimated power level of defeated subjects: Mean of 85, Standard Deviation of 15. Estimated time to infestation: Under one hour for entire populace of 300.
She knelt down to one young demon child, shaking her mother, letting her face settle into a fake smile. This one hadn't attacked or fought back... Still an innocent face amongst the surprisingly innocent demons of this world.
"Don't worry, young one, for I have not killed her. She will awaken soon."
She looked towards the swarm surrounding the village, then grasped the child. ... All targets except for children are disabled. No known impediments to infestation. Returning to target: Rozalin before she wakes up.As the swarm descended, Noel lifted the child. "... Initiating awakening process

Rozalin checked her inventory again. Two bandit hands, in case she saw any enemy with an item she absolutely had to get, a smattering of drinks and food to sustain herself in the field and a spare weapon in case some thief happened to want hers. As for what she had equipped, dressed to kill had seldom been more appropriate. Technically, in terms of pure stats and levelling her equipment now was superior to that she had used the last time she had fought against Baal.
And she might need every bit of that edge. Today's little raid was anything but little in its intentions, as every member of it had through some kind of netherworld savvy decided on the same course of action. Strike the head from the serpent and watch it writhe in its death struggle. Just one tiny detail remained unsolved...

Mao too had been rearranging some of his equipment--his cape was freshly cleaned and armored, his sword sharpened, his supply of mana restoring potions at the ready. "She lives out in that field, right?" Mao reminded her. "We make her eat her own Zerg strategy! Ignore the minions and cut down the bosses!"
He hoped to high hell that Reisen was alright, or hell would be there to pay.

Thomas arrived at the raiding party, sword on his hip, a bag of healing items slung over his shoulders, and there's markings on the back of his hands. "He...hello, I'm going to help out." He stated with a conviction that may throw people off balance.
"I got some healing items right off the shelves, and some runes set in, I may... I may not the strongest person around, but I will assist in what way I can."

Reisen stood at the forefront of the swarm. Her expression... may or may not have held a tinge of regret...
No, this was the best way. She had to do this... it was the only way to defeat Baal, right? Kerrigan knew that... why hadn't Reisen accepted that earlier?
Once everybody was integrated into the Zerg, there was no way Baal could survive the assault of such a united force.
Today would mark the beginning of a new era.
For the Swarm.
With that simple thought, the Zerg began their assault.

Kerrigan watched Reisen from a distance back. A smart leader led from the rear, but only a stupid leader didn't lead their army at all. She noted Reisen's regrets and filed them for future concern. A doubtful soldier could be very dangerous.

Suddenly, in front of the Zerg army, a large wave of Rose Petals rise up and wash over the Zerg in the front, hitting them with their razor sharp edges. Then, Shinku and her dolls fly up over the Horizon, to face the horde. She stares at Reisen and and Kerrigan.
"Reisen, I knew there was something wrong with you, " She said coldly. "I can only hope you were taken by force, and not by choice*
Reisen floated there as she faced Tenshi, her katana gripped in her right hand as she faced the celestial.
"... it looks like we'll have that rematch you always wanted..." the moon rabbit murmured, her wounds from Shinku having healed up thanks to the zerg infestation.
She shifted her grip on her weapon... though a pang of doubt swept through her...
Reisen tensed a bit as Tenshi's weapon became visible. The last time they had a sword fight... the moon rabbit had won rather handily, and that was with a blade she wasn't entirely familiar with...
"I won't need help..." she said slowly.
Because she wanted Tenshi to win.
With her free hand, the moon rabbit sent a barrage of danmaku flying at the celestial before charging in with her blade poised.
Tenshi's way of dealing with the danmaku is pretty obvious. While charging in Reisen's direction, she swings her sword, causing enormous slabs of rock to errupt from the ground in Reisen's path, smashing into the danmaku and shielding Tenshi both from Reisen's view and her attacks. This way, Tenshi would emerge right in the middle of dust and shattered rock, ready to strike!
A little finger goes up to Rita's lips gently to silence her and Beryl smiles. "Don't talk, you'll just end up tearing something open again." She says continuing to bandage her friend up. "And don't worry about it, It's what a close friend is supposed to do, after all of the things you've done for me, this is the ABSOLUTE LEAST thing I could do."
Beryl finishes patching her up soon and then gives her a doughnut. "Here, eat this, it'll heal you." She says, glad that Rita wasn't trying to move around much at the moment.

She pulled out her handgun... Shinku couldn't be taken in the swarm, so it didn't matter if the doll was destroyed or not.

With a flash, her own glowing red sword appeared in her hand, flickering like a flame.
"Oh and feel free to have those stupid bugs attack me too, if you need help!"
