today, feb 10 2008, sunday, sol gil learned how to ride a two (not one, not 3, not 100) wheeler bike.
he did it because he is a gifted and excellent children with stinky feet, and that is the news.

i am proud and also stinky.

some peoples came for sweet potato soup this night and conversation.
also, today ghada amer (!) was in my studio... cool.

in chapel hill
harvest was up at 7am and i was short behind.
i think home made waffles are in order.

it goes away.

each weekday morning I drive my kiddies to school before heading off there myself... even Brandi is at school, technically, so we are a school family. Still, it is so hard to turn the kids over to another person(s) each day... I want homeschooling! I want homeschooling ( Read more... )

i often come here when everyone falls asleep, as it is a short two blocks from home. short, though back in jax my studio was the shed in the back yard. now, much nicer digs, but not as close to the family... still, there is always work here, so these hands come and get to it... in six minutes, at midnight, i am done, though; tired myself.

i had given up my livejournaling, staying up on the news about you peoples through brandi and her page (congrats L+M, BEAUTIFUL!; and congrats X, on home and all)... but now old lolabruff decides to be a livejournalista, so i figure that makes enough peeps about this land who i want to see how they are doing here and there ( Read more... )

this period of waiting to hear from schools about going to get my grad work done is like a tooth pulled... slowly.  i am glad to be putting together the first elephant see cd as a method of time passing as much as a vehicle for getting some of these songs on record... as in a document... i guess this cd will document the time of having just sent ( Read more... )
