WOOOHOOOOO!!!

I just got a call saying that I now have a place in the Birth Centre *bounce bounce bounce*

Very, very happy that I no longer need to think about other options unless things go wrong. *phew*

Question for mothers out there:

Were you (or anyone you know) traumatised by having a natural birth without an epidural? Also, do you consider wanting to avoid trauma to yourself to be valid reasoning behind having an epidural for pain relief during labour?

Woot! We have now settled on our house and have collected keys :-) I'm not hugely impressed over how the Real Estate Agent and the Solicitor handled things today (ie. they didn't show up or call when they said they would) but we have keys, we have our house and all is good! *bounce bounce*

Now we just have to move... :-)

Ok, someone that is experienced at choosing and cooking fresh fish, can I please get some advice? I'm looking to increase my fish intake and fresh grilled fish is far niced than frozen stuff cooked in the oven so I need/want to learn how to cook it and how to choose it. Ok, this is just getting weird. It has rained every day for a week or more here in Canberra. I am very happy about this of course but it still amazes me as this is the most rain we've had within a 6 month period since I moved here....

I'm currently in the process of changing my exercise habits away from regular gym attendance towards swimming (plus I'm moving away from a conveniently close Fitness First gym) so I am wanting to cease my FF membership.
