next summer, I am being encouraged to audition for the exchange program with the British American Drama Academy. this would mean spending between a semester and a full academic year doing theater in London. if I go for the year-long program, I would be eligable to take master-classes, instructed by Dame Judi Dench and others like her. Reason to not do this: Possibly missing Hallowmas (but maybe I'll get rich and pay for you to fly home for Halloween)

Reasons to do this: EVERYTHING! Plus, I could visit you in London, which would be awesome to visit the city and not be as much of a tourist. And you would live in London, which would be amazing. Pretty much, we all win!

wait you would be doing BADA next year or your junior year? and i have some people that you might want to talk to before deciding anything... apparently those who go don't all like it as much as they thought they would... BUT... studying with Judi Dench would be the highlight of my life for you (if that makes any sense).

Well, seems like there's no harm in auditioning--you'd learn a lot by doing just that--& then you can decide upon being accepted whether you want to do this thing. It does sound like one of those Opportunities!!! people are encouraged to seize whenever possible, & it certainly sounds droolworthy to me, but you should do what you wanna do when you feel like doing it.
