A job already! Tackle was happy. Especially happy, because he was ready for this! Suit as neat as he could make it (given his short stature and how awkward he looked in it no matter how much effort he put in), pistol at his shoulder holster cleaned and loaded, attention at alert and electricity crackling in his veins. He was ready to hunt down the Zeroes, as Miss Beta had commanded! The task had to be completed!

Trotting down the streets at a decent pace, Tackle cast about in search of one of the Zeroes -- he was sure he'd caught the scent of one of them wandering around this area, and it was vital that he catch them before they got lost in the crowd and went somewhere else. A quick and efficient cleanup would be best! With minimal civilian involvement and minimal injury, of course -- as Miss Beta had commanded. Checking his watch, Tackle rounded the corner with his usual unwavering smile, eyes bright and alert in search of his target.

Suits were pretty stupid, Beta thought as she walked out of the Omega & Alpha facility. Her hip equipped with a novelty katana that she had no use for, but it was a sort of accessory that she learnt to deal with. Tugging at the cuffs of her black suit jacket and buttoning it up stylishly, she sought through the small area at first. Of course it was a visual scan in her brain that gave her a outlook of who to find, and like a radar, it had set off one of the existing Omega agents ( ... )

Such a lively city! So many people! Pharos was delighted to be in such a place, for the first time since he could remember properly. Of course, he remembered cities, knew a decent enough amount about them, but this was his experience, something he shouldn't have even been allowed to have. Even for someone like him, the city was a very strange little miracle, and though he knew what would happen to all the 'Zeroes' he couldn't bring himself to dislike it. (It wasn't his world to interfere with, after all ( ... )

Ah, Terra, there was something about this place that Frottage could find himself loving. He wandered the streets, straightening his suit as he walked purposefully. A shame that he could only kill the six zeros, but the Omega agent would get over it. As long as he could find the perfect way to tear open one of the unsuspecting and unwanted visitors.

The nice thing about Terra was that it was easier to find places to swipe food than up in Elysium. Not that Idui was short on cash, really -- she'd received the same huge wad of cash as everyone else -- but it was just that snitching buns from bakery shelves and apples from foodcarts was more fun. Not that it was even necessarily. At the moment, she was gnawing on a piece of taffy that some kindly vendor had given her.

Licking the sticky candy off his fingers as she walked, she scampered down the street, searching for something that would entertain her.

Well, this was certainly interesting. It was possible this was just someone from Abyss who had snuck into Terra, but it was also possible that this was one of those six zeros that Frottage had been told about. He started to follow her slowly, even if she was running Frottage knew the area well enough to know the hiding spots. What a cute, hungry little intruder.

The agent had never killed a child before, but he supposed there was a first time for everything. With such a little body it wouldn't take very long to dispose the menace. Oh, this was going to be the start of an easy mission.

It wasn't often he got to wander throughout the city for a mission. Sometimes, his feet took him to the most ridiculous locations without him realizing it; once he felt the draft of the winds flow through his hair bitterly cradling his face and hands and the shiver of knowing he'd fall to his death if he took one more step, he knew exactly where he was. And at the moment, he was more than content to laze around on top of a pristine and private building, the rooftop door secure and leaving him free of disturbances. It only took him a while to memorize the location, before he grew tired of hanging around and hopped off the side of the building, landing with an empty thud on a balcony, walking along until he encountered the stairs that took him down onto the streets ( ... )

His mouth was watering. The promise of rending flesh. The soon feeling of something melting in his mouth as he tore it free from the bone would be his and only his. His shoulders lowered slightly, immersing himself in this feeling, as he felt the saliva continue to build around his teeth. So hungry. How long had it been since he felt so full? So satisfied with the meal that he had?

Autophagy was only so satisfying. As he thought this, his finger slipped into his mouth to begin chewing violently on the digit. Eventually the skin broke and poured a bit of blood into his mouth. He sucked on the injured finger as he walked the streets, looking for the zeroes to eat. Capella perked up when he saw Lay. The way that Lay killed people was so beautiful. Ripping deep into the body and releasing the insides about. He could eat and eat and eat to his hearts content without worrying of creating the initial tear ( ... )

An arm slid around his own, Lay glancing down briefly at the linked limbs with a mixture of apathy and annoyance, before tugging half heartedly, but otherwise, not bothered by Capella hanging off him. He didn't seem grateful for the extra baggage if he spotted a Zero and had to physically shove the other to give chase; and he wasn't too happy about 'accidentally' taking half of his partner with him if he chose to move, then. On the other hand, it meant he could leave the other to do the work for him. He spied the droplet of blood on his finger.

"Us? You're the one doing the eating." It seemed that Lay was happy enough to let him do so; judging by Capella's instinctual reaction to being let outside again. "I'm just the tracker." Lay paused to look over a newsstand, breaking the hold to snag a newspaper and rifling through it. It provided some small excuse to disappear in the brief lull of no physical contact...all he had to do was choose a location.

FLOWER STORE || TERRA thebet_a December 12 2009, 05:08:59 UTC
After the destruction of the target with Tackle, Beta decided to search through a lower level. Tackle seemed to have been able to handle himself up in Elysium - not like Beta really cared, really. She could all but groan heavily at the annoyance of this job, how low she felt to be reduced to nothing but a simple job of cleaning up. It angered her briefly, but down in Terra, her expression brightened. She was walking through the edge of Chinatown, where her bright pink hair wasn’t a signal of look here!, in search for another one of the zeroes.

And much to her surprise, there was one. Her own body whipped around in all different directions in a frenzy. Sword at her side and with a blue bandanna upon her head, she started to take slow wide-strides throughout the level until they found themselves at the entrance of a floral store. She ducked underneath the flowery array that was held in place at the doorframe meeting face to face with a large bouquet of sunflowers and sneezed.

A flower store, of all places. Why a flower store? It wasn't that Shun necessarily disliked flowers, but it seemed like such a -- frivolous task. A library would have been more suiting. Though -- really, Shun couldn't complain too much. It was better than nothing, at least, and he'd have to thank Kakihara for it later. This job would probably help him at least a bit when it came to digging up information on a way to get out of the city. Which, really was his ultimate goal. Get out, get away, get back to New New York ( ... )

Rubbing her nose with the sleeve of her jacket in an irritable fashion, she shook her head and instantly felt the affects of being dizzy. But at least her intuition was true to their word and one of the zeroes was here. She avoided as many as the flowers she could, almost making herself look like a comical display of kneeling down and ducking away from those that she should before speaking lightly, " -- What? Oh, right. Sorry..." Sounding almost completely insulted by Shun’s alternative of bless you, and walked over to the counter.

Her elbows propped themselves on the counter before him, and a fingernail idly circled around one of the buds of a yellow rose that was on the counter. It was too bad that she had to kill him. He seemed like a nice person, but oh well, she sighed nonetheless as she propped her chin in her hand and let her nails tap idly at the side of her jaw, "So, you’re one of the zeroes, aren’t you?" She muttered bluntly as she settled her gaze on Shun, "There is no use lying, I know, I’m one of the -- well you don’t ( ... )
