Nataku had visited his comatose cousin. As always, he was tucked away in some room in the manor. The child would move him from time to time like that would help him, but he did not want Kakyou to be "forced to see" the same room over and over. Of course, he also began wondering if Kakyou was having nice dreams, wondering if it would be a kindness or not to snap his neck so that he would not be forced to continue living in the manner in which he was. His thoughts then went to Flemming and would have to ask if the scientist had the same thoughts towards Hans ( ... )

It took Nagi an unusually long moment to respond to the sound of steel clattering from behind the door, to respond to anything, really. His thoughts distractedly careening from one place to the next, it wasn't until Nataku had started talking that Nagi straightened up, staring blankly at the cartful of pots and pans. And he continued to stare, his features curiously drained of any emotion. It took him an even longer moment to absorb what Nataku was saying. The other had always seemed to work on a rather strange train of logic, but in his current state, Nagi was having a harder time than usual comprehending what exactly Nataku was asking for. A meal? Here? Why him? Why now?

Automatically shuffling the papers back into some semblance of a neat pile, he turned in his seat, canting his head slightly to the side as he looked over the mess of kitchen utensils that Nataku had brought in. Letting his gaze drift over to Nataku himself, before he spoke slowly, his voice sounding faintly sleepy. "-- ah. The dinner -- it doesn't matter any more ( ... )

"I suppose that you would feel that way." Nataku did not know what had been done to Nagi. He had simply believed that for whatever reason, the teacher had decided that Genkaku was someone that he should "cherish." Unaware that this would not actually be a desire of the other if things had been kept as they were. And so, he believed that it was simply in Nagi's personality to forgive being murdered, or assaulted in a manner that would could have ended in death ( ... )
