Started playing in a Dr Who game yesterday. I'm playing the group time lord, a steam-punkish fellow by the name of Kai who has a rather strange fondness for strong tea and carries a thermas flask round with him and has a rather wandering memory. How is the system? I assume you are using the new one. I haven't had much of a chance to look at it yet, but it sounds great!

System is like Cinematic Unisystem (Buffy) but with 2D6 instead of D10. It has story points as well.

Combat/conflicts are quite fun and very Dr Whoish; i.e. initiative in conflicts goes talking then running then doing then fighting. So it's not about combat more about talking and then doing something clever/mad/ million to one. So it does feel a lot like Dr Who and I think its well done.

I'll so be running this when I get a chance...
