Strike Witches Season 2 Confirmed
Man, I really gotta stop doubting my hunches. Case in point, this whole recent Strike Witches ordeal. When an announcement countdown was placed on the official Strike Witches website last week, I suspected that it might be for an announcement of a second season, but dismissed my hunch that it was really about the SW video games news that was also due the same day the countdown ended. My hunch turned out to be "right." When word came out that if you changed your computer's date, the newly updated version of the counter told us the anticipated news was in fact relating to the games. However, I dismissed my hunch that Gonzo was messing with us & just changed the code to throw us off. Turns out I was right again, as well as right in the very first place.
The official website, the April issue of the Sneaker magazine, the second Strike Witches: Otome no Maki novel, Newtype Magazine, & the sixth & final (for now) Strike Witches DVD all confirmed this week that a second season of the loli pantsu anime will be made. No official word on when we might expect to see it on Japanese TV (& hopefully back on YouTube, Bost TV, & Crunchyroll with English subs), but a Fall 2009 date is possible. Don't be surprised if you have to wait until 2010, though.
