Strike Witches Season 2 Announcement?
The official Strike Witches website recently updated itself (it's sentient?) with a countdown clock of sorts. The timer is counting down to February 27, when some huge announcement is expected to be made. Of course, fans of the series can't help but guess that it'll be announcing a second season.
Considering it's only been a few months since the series ended, it does seem a little early for a second series to be announced already. Then again, Strike Witches has been selling like hotcakes in Japan, & Gonzo is in desperate need for big hits. They even recently fired about 75% of their staff even.
News surrounding the upcoming Strike Witches video games is also expected to be announced that day as well. Now I know what you're thinking, the countdown could simply be about the games. But supposedly this is unlikely, considering that the website is only about the anime series & that the game's publisher's site will be announcing news about the video games. Though admittedly, the possibility is there.
