This Week, Joe's Birthday and Swimming Club

Sep 24, 2012 00:33

Its been a strange week this week, for most of it I feel I was fighting off another virus, my head was banging, I fell asleep often during the days for a little while, chest was becoming tighter than usual and just generally felt crappy. A lot of it was anxiety with the build up to going to the swimming club on Friday but more on that later.

swim and loom knitting too jpirkle1 September 24 2012, 01:03:54 UTC
Your swim sounds so soothing.Good thing to use the floating devise and keep on working it in the water. I'm sorry those other members were not willing to really give the whole food thing a better go at it. That is really what it is all about. Quality not Quantity or useless sugars.
Your loom knit items excite me. I want to make a bear and the toys sound fantastic. I haven't ever made up patterns since I have no knowledge of pattern writing or computer saavy stuff like Brenda or you. Your patterns I have worked on are great Helen so I know this effort will be well worth it. Put a proper price on it too. Renee Van Hoy did that. Put a fair price on an e-book. I love her stuff too. Just like Brenda and Isela. Kelly is almost done with a book on round toys. I have seen them and they are really cute. Most in a ball format but every critter you can think of. She is also writing for the first time. It takes a while to do this. Sitting on my hands, waiting with patience for your exciting booklet.

Oh, I forgot to say Happy Birthday to Joe. Sorry I missed that. I'm glad the classes are exciting for him.

You are so brave Helen! I'm very, very proud of you. Shame on the gym for not having ramps for your chair, but you did it anyhow.
I laughed when I saw the name of the book - I played Kalooki with my grandparents. Nice memories.
Love, Renee

Hi Helen!
I will try to follow your blog page as much as possible. I have recently had a garden variety of health problems, particularly my kidneys, (normal when you are 55 yrs. old) and enjoy seeing and hearing about you and those who follow you :) Losing weight is a never ending subject in my life, so I try to be careful that I do the same thing you are doing... get plenty of sleep (or rest), and do a little bit of body movement when up and around the house. I've heard it's better to get a little exercise than to overwhelm yourself with trying to do too much :) God bless you in your valiant efforts.

Thank you so very much Jolene yes its much better to not overdo things, quality is much better than quantity when it comes to exercise, you should be able to burn the same amount of calories in 10 - 20 minutes as someone who is slogging their guts out pushing it on all kinds of machines at the gym for an hour.
