Exercised one of  my rights as an American today and hit the polls at 7:30 this morning.   There was already a line, which was nice to see.  Normally during mid-term elections the halls echo.  But I was #59 and Bob was #60th in line.  And surprisingly I saw a few younger people - now when I say younger I mean in there twenties, early thirties.  I ( Read more... )

Been a fun week with the sis-in-law. Went to dinner at our favorite restaurant and munched down on the local seafood, tonight we are dropping her off at a local business that does the 'scrapbooking, stamping, beading' stuff and she is taking a class. Have the sis-in-law down for the week.  She came in on Thursday and will be here until next.  She's a real peach and I love having her here.  She is one of those 'no-muss-no-fuss' visitors.  Easy going, doesn't have any great urge to go anywhere but is up for anything.  Easy to feed and water.   My kinda relative.  LOL.   I think she's the only one ( Read more... )
