For anyone who missed it, the arguments before the Ninth Circuit were broadcast this morning. It was something of a landmark just for that fact alone: traditionally, federal courts forbid the televising of their proceedings. He is Vaughn Walker, SUPER JUDGE
Today, US District Justice Vaughn Walker released his ruling overturning California's Proposition 8. It runs 138 pages, and, no, I haven't read it, but what's coming out of the analysis so far is excellent. Soooooo... Got 20+ inches on the ground over Friday and Sturday, crippling the Capital (the Fed is closed today, thousands without power, and public transportation near non-existent), and now they're calling for MORE snow?!
