I got laid off! D:

At least they're giving us (as in half the office) three pay periods notice. I am still in the shock phase. Anger will set in by the weekend.

*many hugs* I'd recommend moving straight from shock to the 'looking for another job' phase; that pent-up anger makes for great adrenaline in filling out apps.

So sorry to hear this!!!!! I was checking your journal for good news that you were at home for spring break so that we could hang out :-( Oh noes, I know you are super awesome so you'll find a new place fast--just think of my situation, I still have a shitty job (no responses from the many teaching positions I applied to) and we're just picking up and moving to Pennsylvania regardless of job status. HUGS AND KISSES (Grosses bises like our teacher said in French class!) I hope you are doing well, and if you are in the hometown area drop me an email and maybe we can catch up this weekend and get in some catharsis as well <3

Thanks for the sympathy! Per my latest LJ post, I may not be fired after all, but we'll see. Sadly I am/was not home for Spring Break, as, alas, there are no federal holidays that coincide with most schools' spring breaks. D: Another time though, definitely! Especially if you guys are moving imminently! Super good luck vibes for you getting a teaching position! <3
