Mom's out of surgery. There were no complications during surgery, but they'll have to wait till she wakes up to make sure. They didn't remove the cancer. From Amos's explanation, the surgeon had a hard time locating the cancer, but he removed some other stuff in there. She's decided to have the cancer removed. The surgeon says that it will be a trickier operation this time since her thyroid is already completely removed and there is scar tissue as well as a lot of other things right there in front of your neck. I'm pretty sure he didn't word it like that, but my brain's a little foggy now, and I'm translating ( Read more... )
