Normally this time of year, I am either in knitting for Christmas hell, or participating in a UFO-off, otherwise known as finishing all of the things I haven't finished. The latter is what I should be doing, as there are at least 8 things on the needles that I do actually plan to finish at some stage. HOWEVER, I really really want to be knitting

I really wish I could remember how to knit, but that's a skill I lost thirty years ago (I knitted a scarf for LT, my teddy, with a bit of help from my mum).

These days, I spend more than enough time gluing things together for the garklet (more often than not, broken toys)

I have: a pair of mittens to knit for Stephen's aunt (it's looking like it'll be a new year's present!); 2 xmas stockings to sew and hang on the mantel; snowflakes to crochet (you know about those) and maybe more ornaments to buy(?) - mine don't quite 'stand out' enough :(

I've also got to plan and shop for our xmas dinner.
