Is anyone else obsessed with True Blood? Please say it's not just me.

I find it hilarious, well acted and very entertaining. Their timing is classic comedy in a very slow, Southern Gothic-ish way. Anyone else able to squee over it?

there's a fantastic blood soaked sex scene in Season 2, like something out of Razorblade Smile with better production values.

Love True Blood, love the books more. Sookie really is quite stupid and very much a tart in the books - its lovely. Also so easy to read, I can read them in 4 hours!

True Blood is ace. It wins because it doesn't take itself seriously and that really works.

I loved the books but I really can't get into the TV series. I haven't given up yet, but I think I might.

I watched the first 7-8 episodes on FX, but tbh got bored with the constant upping the ante in the plot...

Reminded me of us seeing the Piano though, so all good!

Say, where are you for Xmas?

Arese, LJ account password wrong, this was Alex btw!
