I wasn't sure if I could do it, because both of my hips were sore today. I have been exercising the old one and it is making it hurt more. Anyway, I stopped by the road, fiddlehead Lane, and used ski poles ( Read more... )

We went down early this morning. I walked with my outdoor canes down to the moat bridge where we'd dropped the load of leaves on Saturday evening. I started to unload them, but it was just too much for me. Willem arrived and I felt strange saying, "I just can do it." I'm surprised I'd thought I could!

I haven't done any typing in a long time. I update my journal by the microphone on my ipod or type one fingeredly on my android tablet or phone. It's good to be typing again. I think I have a lot to type about. So I'll start from where I am ( Read more... )

I got up and did the dishes this morning. Then I went for a walk to the stream. I tried to figure out what the beaver cut stick was, but as I rounded the stream, the stick was gone. Perhaps it was the lighting on another stick, not beaver felled ( Read more... )

Willem and I went for a walk about 7:45am. It was good to go while the sun was just about to get ouot! It rained hard last night. We went first to the pond where we put the kayaks away and retreived Wilson, the floating blockhead of styrofoam. We put away the cushions from the swing under the sumacs and also retreived the two extension nets ( Read more... )

I had a nice little walk on the top of the hill. I took photos of all of the beautiful scenes all-around I thought that I would be able to add them with my app. But it will only let me upload pictures that I take at the moment. Maybe I can add them later on the computer. I'll see.
