It was so nice to be at home. I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was. We had been at the temple all day yesterday and done so many ordinances that finally it was sticking in my head. Just one doesn’t do it.

I got up 45 minutes ago. I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of moving my body from here to there, but the morning bathroom run called. I used the crutches. It worked better than before. Maybe I'm getting pretty good at this. I think it's a balance thing. You put the bad foot out in front.

I am home now, and unsure what it is I should be doing. I'm in my chair in our bedroom where I like to sit. It is comfortable. I miss being with my beloved friends! I thought about Mom a lot today. I'm reading her little address book. I didn't find her big white one when I was in her home ( Read more... )

I had a nice little walk on the top of the hill. I took photos of all of the beautiful scenes all-around I thought that I would be able to add them with my app. But it will only let me upload pictures that I take at the moment. Maybe I can add them later on the computer. I'll see.

I welcomed George the carpenter/plumber/electrician/home builder, Mike the electrician and Dale the carpenter/handyman to the house. George was going to work on the drains in the wall and beneath the floor in the crawlspace. He had a better work space than the rest of the plumbers have had so far! It's Sunday and I'm supposed to be at church, but today, for the first time in years, I'm taking the day off. I just can't be away from home for another day. Every day we have had to go somewhere, or live at Ben's. It's so nice to just be at home, in my own chair. I love my family, but I do need a break from all the driving ( Read more... )
