[Even after being in Somarium for about a month or so, Euphie still wasn't quite accustomed to how things worked. Having things revert back to the 1920s a week or two after arriving certainly didn't help her confusion either.

And the whole dead people being brought back to life here aspect? Not the easiest pill to swallow, especially when your ( Read more... )

Please, there's no need to be so formal! Even if it wasn't quite us during the last few weeks, we were friends then. So please, call me Euphie!

I presume by your confusion that you are also quite new to Somarium, Lady Aurora?

Then please call me Aurora, Euphie. And yes, just last month along with my the girl I live with.

Lovely! Aurora then. [She claps in excitement.]

How interesting that we arrived at about the same time. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one utterly baffled by these strange occurrences.

We simply must meet in person some time!

[ (bah) on the roof. ]

It's normal. [ a beat. ] At least, as far as I can tell from my time here so far.

[ ... ] Though, I doubt something like what happened over the last few weeks will happen again. Hopefully. [ worrying about Lelouch's health and mother henning over it isn't good for his own health. u-u damn this knight business...! ]

[be careful not to fall now, silly! *A*]

That certainly makes things easier, knowing when to expect new arrivals.

How reassuring. It was...quite the experience. One I'm not quite sure I wish to repeat.

[...] Thank you for your assistance, Suzaku. [Just Suzaku. Because she's still not sure if this is the Suzaku that she knew. Her Suzaku, her Knight. But if it's not, that's okay too, as long as he's here.

& he better not get sick worrying over others! Learn to be selfish for once Suzaku! 8|]

[ aha suzaku, fall? no... never...! ]

Yeah. [ knowing when to see more people he has to lie to. ] Someone I know arrived this time around, but... [ trailing off and shaking his head with a smile. the bitch tried to slap him. B| ] It's not important.

[ though, nodding and then- sdfghaklevjgie CONCERN fret fret and fret some more as that temporary smile falls. ] Ah- are you alright? Did something happen? You weren't hurt, were you?

[ last part ~*not as important*~ as the possibility of Euphy being hurt! reassurance of Euphemia's safety has taken priority over saying no problem after being thanked, his own safety, and just about the vaaast majority of Somarium.

hey, idiots can't get sick u-u and he's not allowed to be selfish. 8( ]

[let's not jinx ourselves now, bb!]

Of course it's important, Suzaku! Is it...someone you didn't want to see then, or...? Nothing happened to you, did it? [concerned furrow of brows -- commence. how cold, Kallen. good thing she didn't connect & potentially ruin such a perpetually emo pretty face! 8|

& who's the mother hen now?!]

Ah, y-yes! I'm perfectly fine! [fluster fluster fluster. waving of hands all over the place.] N-no, nothing happened at all, I promise! It was just very strange.

But what about you? Are you alright?

[he is such a selfless soul, always putting others first. /tears up.

b-b-but...everyone can get sick, especially selfless idiots. mhmm.]

Yeah, people just kind of sprout up around this time. It's how you know the month if you don't keep a calendar.

As far as the 'events'? Better get used to them. Not that we can ever predict the things.

That seems like a logical way to tell relative time.

[A smile.]

So, what happened last month, you're saying that such things occur often here - without warning? How troublesome. Have you been here long then?

Ah, and thank you for your assistance, Miss!

nolessthanseven May 9 2011, 21:39:44 UTC
Exactly.

Yeah. A year, I guess. This pretty much happened when I first got here too. You get a little bit of warning - like things suddenly changing - but not a whole lot.

It's nothing.

A year? That's quite a long time. Do you have friends here with you?

Ah, I see. That's a bit better than no warning, I suppose.

Oh, where are my manners? I'm Euphemia li Britannia. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Affirmative.

Records show a significant increase in the number of new residents at the start of each month.

[Oh, Lambda. You might throw Euphie for a bit of a loop. lololo]

Eh? [this was quite strange, she spoke almost... robotically. but she was kind enough to answer her question, so...]

Ah, thank you very much for such valuable information, Miss!

[She doesn't bite! She has far more efficient methods of dealing damage.]

Acknowledged.

Addendum. Frequency of widespread reality distortions within Somarium: uncommon. Source of distortion... unknown.

[Good to hear! Trust me, I've played enough BlazBlue to know that haha *A*

blink blink blink. such an odd manner of speech!]

I...see. So then these strange occurrences don't happen often? That certainly is reassuring. You seem to be well informed on Somarium, have you been here long?

I...think people arrive every month around the same time, actually. At least, that's how it's been since I got here. [Which...was only about three months ago, but still. It did follow that pattern.

To the question about the odd events, she tilted her head.] This is the first weird happening I've witnessed myself, but I've been told they do happen a lot.

That's so strange, but also a nice indication of when to expect newcomers. Have you been here long, Miss?

Goodness, I'm not so sure I want to be around when another event such as the last one happens. I can't imagine the trouble they must cause.

[She nods in agreement.] Yes, I think so too. And...three months, I think?

I'm not so sure I do, either. This wasn't so bad, but I've heard there have been worse.

That seems like quite a long time... but I suppose when you consider that some people have been stuck here for years, it doesn't seem so bad.

Worse? Such as what?
