[Even after being in Somarium for about a month or so, Euphie still wasn't quite accustomed to how things worked. Having things revert back to the 1920s a week or two after arriving certainly didn't help her confusion either.
And the whole dead people being brought back to life here aspect? Not the easiest pill to swallow, especially when your

As far as the 'events'? Better get used to them. Not that we can ever predict the things.

[A smile.]
So, what happened last month, you're saying that such things occur often here - without warning? How troublesome. Have you been here long then?
Ah, and thank you for your assistance, Miss!
Reply
Yeah. A year, I guess. This pretty much happened when I first got here too. You get a little bit of warning - like things suddenly changing - but not a whole lot.
It's nothing.

Ah, I see. That's a bit better than no warning, I suppose.
Oh, where are my manners? I'm Euphemia li Britannia. It's a pleasure to meet you.

[blink blink blink. how can you be so calm about dinosaurs?!] Truly? Oh my, how frightful that must have been! I'm certainly glad I've only just recently arrived then. [because really, HOW CAN YOU BE CALM ABOUT DINOSAURS and jungle cats and other killing machines?! *A*]
That certainly is an indisputable fact, I've come to realize.

[and then she just grins.]

Oh! You must be quite skilled in combat, then. That's very admirable.
Reply
Yeah. Born and raised for combat - if I weren't good at it, I probably wouldn't be here.
Reply
It must be nice being able to look after yourself and be so independent.
Reply
Totally. I don't think there's anything I can't do or get for myself. And if there is, there's probably a guy I can get to do it for me.
Reply
Oh! That certainly is a nice perk of being a lady, having men to do all sorts of things for us.
