Well, the box is finished, and actually looks just fine. The two and a half hours I spent fixing it were totally worth it, and far less effort than starting over again. Though I admit, it was really, really wrenching to sand a finished (if flawed) product down to the bare wood, completely obliterating the design. Sadly, it had to be done. ( Read more... )
