{internet hugs} seem so lame - but they are all I have to give. :(

If I were there in person though, I would offer you some chocolate cookies then a nice walk in some comfortably warm weather. We would walk at your pace - letting you rant or rave as you see fit. The bright blue sky would help melt your sorrows and worries for a little while.

I have to admit, I was never a great fan of Heath Ledger's.

But, several times in my life, I have been in pain, depressed, and totally unable to sleep. I have done scary things with medications in order to get that sleep. So I understand how he was feeling, and how the tragic accident that led to his death happened.

There are people in this world who don't understand, who've never had the pain/depression/insomnia combo, and think he got what he deserved. I envy the cause of their ignorance, and then I want to smash in their faces.

It's still unpleasantly near, yes. I mean, I know my sense of time is bad, very bad, but . . . it feels like a few months. Not a year.
