We know that Ulrich von Liechtenstein was a real guy, and we even have a depiction of him from the Codex Manesse in which he is wearing a particularly fabulous hat shaped like a torch-wielding Venus. No, really.

There were no pictures of Sir William Thatcher, however. So I set about remedying this, using the original picture as a base.
