McCain's new running mate is horrible in many ways. It is not the most offensive of her crimes against human decency, but her support for aerial hunting in Alaska is certainly revealing. She opposes measures that would end this barbaric practice, and last year, she proposed a bounty of $150, to be paid to anyone who brought in a wolf's left

Considering how avoidant wolves are, that would be pretty safe for both the people and the wolves, actually, so I'd call it a good solution.

Heck, you could limit it to bow hunting on foot...and the wolves would still have more than a sporting chance!

Problems is, macho idiots that hunt wolves aren't interested in giving them a fair chance. Because they know they are hopelessly out-classed by the wolves when it comes to hunting, and are too cowardly to fight fair.

Hence the helicopters and machine guns.
