My Subconscious Hates Me

I had more nightmares last night!

The first one wasn't a bad dream at all. It was only a bad dream when I woke upI dreamed I went to my dad's house. My uncle Jim was on a riding lawnmower, mowing the front yard, but before I could call out, he rode away into the park across the street ( Read more... )

This has nothing to do with your post (sorry about the bad dreams) and everything to do with your current musics. I thought I was about the only geek in the world that has and listens to the Jack of All Trades theme song. ^_^ I loved that show because it was so over the top, and I adore having the song to listen to quite often. My roommate always stops and asks me what it is every time I play it. ^_^

You have it on MP3? I just had the earworm! Can I induce you to send it to me?

We just discovered the show, and are working our way through it. It is the most ridiculous, hilarious thing I've ever seen. Action and plot written for 8-year-olds with dialogue for 40-year-old perverts. And yet, it somehow manages not to talk down to its audience.

I have SUCH a mad-scientist crush on Emelia.

That brings you to where I got it. They have all sorts of tv theme songs. I'll admit to having over 300 theme songs, including variants and ending themes, most that they have, some that they don't.

Only Bruce could really pull off a lot of the stuff in that show. So amazingly quirky, as I remember. I haven't seen it in years, but it was fabulous when I stayed up late when I was younger and got to see in order: Hercules, Xena, Cleopatra 2525, and Jack of All Trades before running to be in bed before my dad got up early for work. Best line up ever, I'm telling ya.

How could you not have a mad-scientist crush of Emelia? Seriously, it's just not possible.

BWAHAHAHA! Awesome! Thank you!

It's the most PERSISTENT earworm, I swear. I was singing it in a dream the other night. *lol*

I'm sorry I missed it when it was on TV. Bruce is so totally awesome. He's such a goofwad that it took me YEARS to notice that he's actually a really handsome guy.

Well, I wouldn't say the entire city is necessarily SCARY... more the ORU campus is FUCKING CREEPY!

The rest of the city just seems a little sad. Maybe because it's the only spark of life in a 100 mile radius?

It was AWESOME to meet you guys. Can't wait to hang out again. :)

Also? That lovely fox pic is sitting on the kitchen table waiting for me to find the perfect place for it... I want it to be very visible, but not overwhelmed by the rest of the stuff we have. Decisions, decisions.

I'm glad you like her! I'm thinking about taking that pattern and offering it as a print, or doing a panel or a box or something. I like it really well, and it sure looked nice on the parchment!

*hugs*

Hey, I always loved the truly awfulness of Sheena. It makes me smile with it's badness. Seriously. The only thing that I ever saw to top it was 'America 3000'. Which I want on DVD one day. Just because... it's bloody terrible. Which makes it funny!!

Have I mentioned lately that I love you woman?

*snorgle*

I love you too!

Sheena is truly awe-inspiring. Tanya Roberts could not act her way out of a toilet-paper sock.

Ferrett refers to them as "happy-mares" - worse than nightmares because the sad starts when you wake up....

Hey! Having a word for it is really cool.

I like that. Happy-mares.

It was a nice dream, but the waking up was not nice. Oh, I hate those dreams!! Worse than nightmares in a way.
