For what it's worth, certain other cat-berating, ice-chewing folks all the way across the ocean also feel scared about the big and the 'small' stuff, get angry about threats to a woman's ability to govern her own life, sit up at midnight, freezing cold, wrapped in a sleeping bag and muttering to the snakes...

Oh, and when we miss you it's not always the funny we miss - sometimes we're just hoping you're okay and looking forward to seeing you pop up and say 'hi, I'm still here'.

I'd like some rain, actually. Rain is so nice. I love the sound, and the smell of it.

I've been freezing too. I went to go turn up the heater and realized my roommate had turned on the A/C...

want to talk about how scared I am sometimes that when I die there'll just be . . . nothing, and how I'm not really sure I believe in the divine anymore, and how utterly sad that makes me, because I don't know what goes in that empty place.

As strange as this may sound, there is a certain comfort in knowing that i am not the only one who thinks like this, and i still dont know how to cope with that.

The funny is good, but the heartfelt , real life stuff is just as good, and sometimes it's enough to know that your ok.

Perhaps this is a good time to indulge in the sheer delight of dark chocolate, nods, nothing says comfort like the dull thock of snapping of a peice, and letting it melt slowly in your mouth. *runs out to buy some*
