Here's my voice in the dark of night!

I'm cold too. My house has a heater, but my room doesn't have a vent, and the space heater doesn't seem able to keep up... :P

Our canaries are nesting, which means the little male is singing his heart out. It sounds like the Tikki Room around here.

The cala lily bloomed today. Gorgeous.

I agree with pagan_writes; sometimes it's good enough to just to hear you're okay.

RE The Divine...maybe it doesn't matter? Maybe if you're just the best sort of person you know how to be, God or whatever gives you credit. And if there isn't anything after, you've still made what you get as good as possible.

Awww! Wee canaries! And calla lilies! They're always so pretty.

I'm cool with myself, you know? I don't figure I'll ever fret much over my life or have Guilt or anything, I just have fear. I don't want there to be nothing. That would totally suck. You know? I can't do that Buddhist thing where I let go of my attachment to self. I just can't.

Me neither. Truth be told, I really do believe there is something to go to after. I just try not to think about it too much. I swear, half *my* problems are caused by dwelling. :)

The words'll come. Probably on little cat feet... they're weird that way. And then they will land all ungodly-lb weight on your bladder, causing eloquent streams of literary piss.

In less cracked-out nonsense: how blessedly good it is to have true friends who hold you safely, a happy-making Sargon, delightful porn-inducing perfumes. You're not alone in death fear/death panic, or your rage at the constriction of women's reproductive rights and bodily sovereignty, or the goofy happiness at fan mailing someone delicious.

Anyway, um. Thank you for sharing. You help make the internet not suck, when you're broody, when you're funny. You're cool that way.

Thanks. I try to make my corner of the 'net not suck.

And I love the piss metaphor. Very apt. *cracks up*

Ah, enabling. It's a fun hobby.

I have Rakshasa already, and while I liked it well enough, I don't think I need a second imp of it, so you'd be better off swapping with someone for something you DO like. See? I'm all honest and crap. XD

It did this weird thing on me where it smelled exactly like oranges, even though there are no oranges in that blend. REALLY fucking strange.

Mmm. Tea.

I'm over heated over here. It's unseasonably warm and the building's heat is still on so even with 2 windows open I am melting!

I know what you mean about missing your mom at silly times. I also understand your fears about dying and doubts of an after life. I won't make you sad with my ramblings.

Just know that we all read you for ALL of you. (at least the ones who are commenting here). like someone above said, we just like to know you're ok. It doesn't matter if you are talking about cats, snakes, painting, porn, perfume or the men-men fairy, or writing painful, sad, angry entries that hit us straight in the heart. We read you because we care.

I hope you can take comfort in knowing that there are others who can relate.

"...the men-men fairy..."?

What did I miss?

(Oh, and it's warm here, too...well, for New England in early March. I wore a short-sleeved tee to work today. Left the bedroom window open. I'm sure I'll be sorry.)

tea. coffee...... freke_whitemane March 10 2006, 11:29:41 UTC
it's all caffeine to me. I do appreciate a nice tea a good deal more, but frankly having grown up the son of a truck driver, most my bloodstream is coffee anyhow.

I'd just like to say that after reading all your reviews, I'm tempted to actually try some of these scents. Even for a male I've never been much for cologne or anything but some of these descriptions are just... wow.
