You know, the more stuff I read about season 3, the more I'm actually glad that BBC America is taking their sweet time putting it on over here. I'm also beginning to see why most of the actors left the show. It can't be a positive career move...
I just knew Guy was going to bite the big one. I liked him, and as a rule, all characters I like end up dying. It was also the most illogical move the writers could've made: "I know! Let's go kill off RA's character since he's got the biggest following of fangirls who probably won't watch the show without him in it! Yay for ratings!" *head/desk* Heroic sacrifice? Oh, for crying out loud! Please tell me he didn't rush into it saying anything dumb like "WE ARE ROBIN HOOD?" I don't think I could handle that... And I totally agree: after seeing a few screencaps of the death scene, RA should never, ever, ever, EVER be allowed to croak on TV EVER again. The images alone are freakin' heartbreaking

It's prob best for everyone's career that they're leaving asap but we'll miss the chemistry of them together. No other project they do individually will ever have the same feel.
Thankfully, in English television everyone seems to work with everyone else at some point more than once.
I know. They really did have great chemistry together. I guess that's why I'm so annoyed that the writers couldn't do better than they did. They had great talent at their disposal and all they do is throw cliches at it? What were they thinking? *sigh*
Another thing I'll miss: RA. In head-to-toe black leather...hehehe! :D

In part because i am like the neglected and abused lapdog of the show that will wag it's tail drool when shown the slightest bit of affection.
And in the other part because she was SO PASSIVE AGRESSIVE CROSS WITH HIM!
"I have waited for YOU" and "always and forever my love" are obvious digs at robins forgetful behaviour ...I think perhaps we are not the only ones to hate kate. yay marian!
also...if i ever have to watch RA die on screen again i will write to 'points of view' even if ann robinson laughs and calls me aa crazy fangirl!

OK OK I admit it. The most serious issue I had with the ghost Marian scene is that IT'S NOT FUCKING FAIR! SO MUCH HAPPINESS *SOB* Why is it that my ships never get to have that?
Marian having lots and lots of revenge sex SOUNDS great but i have been converted to Team Heaven where everyone acts in character but everyone loves eachother Guy, Robin, Marian, Allan, Izabella, Allan... they all just loll around and CAPSLOCK over the good ol' days
I don't feel like I can convert to Team Heaven just yet. It's a good idea for lolz but I can't be properly serious about it. CAPSLOCKING is the way to get over the oh! woes indeed.
I thought it was a bit boring too! In fact, after Guy copped it, I went off and checked my mail and completely missed the explodey castle FX. I had to rewatch it later on on BBCNI, just to catch that bit again, although I was far, far too traumatised to watch our boy dying for a second time.
I may have to give it a few weeks before I can re-watch Guy breathing his last, because the very image of it makes me recoil in horror. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Surely that much pretty should be immortal?
