As so many of my friends have posted photos of their early 19th C explorations this past weekend I felt the need to post mine too! Except I realised I didn't have any good photos to share and I didn't manage to completely finish my dress. There was no time for any fancy hairdo or make up or anything to look pretty. the making of a lollipop-knecht, part 1.
After at least a year's thinking about it, i've finally got started on some landsknecht clothing for the boy!

a present for me!
I just summoned our little family counsel and we decided i was allowed to spend money to order PoF 4 as a birthday present to myself! YAY!!! in just a week or so.... -
the fish is now the frog!
wednesday morning at 10.47 am, after 10 h of labour the frog was born!
everything went fvery fast and luckily without any complications. we are now happily installed at home. more updates later...

wool soakers
hm, just spent 3 hours browsing baby patterns on ravelry. my knitting urge is finally coming back to me!
found quite a lot of free patterns on wool soakers. now i just need to decide which patterns to try out first.
i think these two will be cast on quite soon in some different yarns for tests fulled wool diaper wrap and the curly purly soakers. if ( Read more... ) -

Finally all my deadlines has passed and are completed. i can start to take it easy and finish all those sewing/knitting/embroidery-projects that have piled up the last 6 months.

i would go if i could, but i'm afraid for me, travelling is not an option this autumn.
